This Privacy Policy explains how nifty-little.tools ("we," "us") handles information when you use this website and its tool subdomains (collectively, the "Site").
1. The Short Version
Our tools are built to run entirely in your browser. We don't require accounts, and we don't operate our own servers that store your generated results, passwords, or other tool output. The main places personal data touches this Site at all are: advertising (via Google AdSense), approximate location detection on tools that support multiple regional formats, and payments for optional premium features (via Lemon Squeezy).
2. Information the Tools Themselves Don't Collect
Number generators, password tools, and similar utilities on this Site compute their results locally in your browser using your device's built-in secure random number source. That output is never transmitted to, or stored on, our servers. Closing or refreshing the page clears it permanently on our end (and on yours, unless you've copied or saved it yourself).
3. Cookies and Local Storage
Some tools use your browser's local storage to remember simple, non-personal state on your device — for example, whether you've already used a one-time free trial of a premium feature. This information stays on your device, is not linked to your identity, and is not sent to us.
Separately, advertising on this Site (see below) uses cookies and similar technologies set by Google and its advertising partners.
4. Approximate Location Detection
Some tools on this Site support several regional variants of the same format (for example, a number generator that supports several different draw formats). To suggest a relevant default when the page loads, your device sends your IP address to a third-party geolocation lookup service, which returns your approximate country. This happens automatically on page load for these tools, before you interact with anything.
This lookup is used only to pick which option is pre-selected; it does not restrict, hide, or gate any option — every format remains available to every visitor regardless of detected location, and you can change the selection at any time. It is not an advertising or tracking cookie, is not linked to any advertising identifier, and is not shared with Google or Lemon Squeezy. It is a separate, narrowly-scoped request to the geolocation provider only.
5. Advertising (Google AdSense)
This Site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance.

6. Payments (Lemon Squeezy)
Optional premium features on select tools are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record for these purchases. When you buy a premium unlock, Lemon Squeezy collects the payment and billing information needed to process your order (such as name, email, and payment details) directly — we do not see or store your full payment details ourselves. Premium unlocks on this Site are currently tied to your browser on a specific device rather than to an account, so we don't hold a database of who has purchased what beyond the order records Lemon Squeezy keeps on our behalf.
7. Children's Privacy
This Site is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher — for example, 13 in the United States). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable data protection law — such as the GDPR in the EU/EEA — including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and the right to object to certain processing. Since we don't collect or store personal data directly through the tools themselves, most of these rights are best exercised with the relevant third party (Google for advertising data, our geolocation provider for location-lookup data, Lemon Squeezy for payment data) using the links on this page. 9. International Data Transfers
Google, our geolocation provider, and Lemon Squeezy may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States, under their own respective safeguards and legal bases for international transfer.
